| Bio: | Basically this is a journal to post my novels in one place other than in ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif){kind=small} darknakane . This would be a lot easier for peoples to read my stuff instead of stiffing through all my other crap you know. :pI have finished 2 of my books to date. The first book is "Whatever Happened to the Vampires of the Night". The best summery of the 1st book is as follows: The governor of New York is secretly a vampire that is running for President. Hilarity ensues. :grin: Otay the last part is so not what happens but hey the 1st part is right. LOL So how about family drama ensues? The prequel explains how Raven Thorn became the first female Prince, "Blood and Roses- Bloodlines". I created the story idea of these books back in 1992 during the summer. I have rewritten and edited these books for the past what 10+ years. It's amazing how things have shifted or changed over the years due to my Muses and the help of a writer's group I was in. I know some of you that happened on this journal might think my writing could be compared to Anne Rice or Hamilton but I assure it doesn't. Yeah I do have erotica going on in these novels but I like to go places that not many mainstream female authors really touch on in the vampire mystique. (heh, I just used my name.) Yaoi goodness for everyone that wants it. So if that isn't your thing then move along. Nothing to see here. The yaoi goodness isn't really until the prequel, just a disclosure. :p I welcome comments, questions and 'crits' (lol) Enjoy my world and take a look around. The first woman clan Prince. Inner Turmoil: After being held back from her adulthood for so long as a child, Raven fears that she won't be strong enough for the people she cares about. Damien kept her as a prisoner while she grew up as to strengthen the power within her but despite all the trials Raven still followed the path that was laid before her. She had been give various opportunity to go a different way and create a new destiny for herself, but she knew she had to help the ones that needed her strength. Raven went through a lot to gain the crown of her clan taking on the various people that went out of their way to make her leadership of the Thorn clan difficult. But despite everything Raven lead her clan with the strength her people or other clans had never seen and gain much respect for her stubborness against breaking the rules that were around her. Raven follows the fate that surrounds and guides her hoping to make it work for herself, but her path is foreordained. She is a strong willful woman that does what she can to make those she loves understand their place when they become lost, even though she is as lost as they are. Raven doubts the strength inside of her and fears she will fail those who look to her. Can she really help sooth the darkness within Baylen? Heal the suffering of Sage and accept the pure love of Tochiro? She wonders if any of the pain many had been put through for her is really worth all the trouble. Is she worth the lives of so many that they forego their own life for her safety and well being? Raven wants to be strong for all those around her despite the weakness that lays hidden deep within her. Is her love strong enough?  Governor Baylen York, vampireOlder Brother of Raven Thorne and Sage Thorne, Heir and first born son of Damien York. Inner Turmoil: Afraid of who is and what he's meant to do. Fear of his destiny and the inner darkness that resides within himself. Baylen was the first born son of Damien York the Prince of the Thorn clan, and Thorn Heir to the Thorn Clan. He fell in love with his younger sister despite it being against the rules of the clan and his father. His little sister Raven was meant to be wed to her twin Sage as the clan tradition of twins are meant to marry and strengthen the bloodline. Although he loves Raven with his entire soul he discovers a terrible price for them if they are to be together, a clan legend that is the destiny he fears above all else. Baylen is very passionate about Raven which is why he fears himself with her. He can sense the darkness in him that is the same as his father's. He knows he has a dark side when it comes to Raven and fears he will become like his father and hurt the one he loves. Because of this darkness he holds things in and refuses to accept or acknowledge the truth about himself. Baylen wishes to renounce everything that he used to be when he was the Thorne Prince and become the man he thinks would be best for everyone in the long run. Baylen likes the shell he created around himself to protect the people he cares for from finding the real him he has hidden behind the shell. He would rather live as a human than become the monster like his father. He loathes being in Damien's shadow as the first born son and heir. Even though he knows the twisting hatred inside of him longs to be free and destroy his father once and for all. Baylen knows there is a dangerous darkness within him that Raven seems to be the only one to control and that is another concern that festers within himself.  Sage Thorne, vampireRaven Thorne's twin brother and Baylen York's little brother. Inner Turmoil: Fear of being alone and unwanted, mostly a fear of abandonment. Possibly from the death of his mother who was killed by his father, a father who loathed and despised him. Sage has always felt like the odd man out with no real place within his large family. His twin sister had a destiny along with their older brother while Sage was the sibling that didn't belong. He had yearned for the love of his father that neither acknowledged or accepted him. Due to his inner fear of isolation he uses his attitude to create an unforgettable presence. Sage believes attention whether good or bad is better than none at all. He lives in the moment so he cannot feel the pain that festers in his heart. His many sexual encounters are an attempt to have control over those who desire and love him. Sage can come and go as he pleases so he cannot have his heart broken by anyone. He walks a fine line between himself and his inner desires for acceptance. Sage is very timid with the word love and will never say it to anyone fearing that the person will use him and leave. Only a few people can see past the mask Sage created around himself, his other face that shows the true him. Sage's biggest desire is to have the love of Raven as he was meant to since they were born. It causes a hole in his heart that his twin gave her love to his older brother instead of him. Raven is the other half of him and he seeks to fill the hole that tears at his heart. | ||
